KCAHS Requirements
1. Tennessee State requirements (and Knox County Requirements) for the year a student entered high school must be met. The guidance counselor will review and determine credit and testing requirements for all students.
2. Passing scores on the Tennessee Proficiency Tests/TCAP or Gateways Tests. Students entering high school beginning 2001/2002 must pass all three Gateways. (TCAP no longer available) 3. Completion of the Life Skills requirement, which is a career planning and preparation program. (only applicable to day students)
